Happy St. Baldrick's Day!

Ed Now you see him..soon you won't!  His hair, that is. Funny how he looks alot like Paw Paw Don, Evan's grandpappy, huh?  These good looking, seafarin' dudes, divers of the depths of the ocean kinda guys all look alike, somehow. Maybe it's all the sea air or the roads that rise to meet them or maybe it's the swimming with the sharks, or the wind always at their backs...something sure does give them the gleaming leprechaun look and special twinkle in their eyes....Any ole way, Ed has been seen around, sporting a flock of white locks...but not for long! Actually Ed hasn't been seen in these here parts..because he hails from Sterling, Alaska.Whoa, that's far away! But, neither wind nor rain nor snow nor hail nor distance has kept Ed from the cause. Get this: In honor of cancer kids everywhere, Ed is shaving his head! Yep..going bald on St. Baldrick's Day to raise all kinds of money for the little ones who struggle. Ed and many like him are going bald this weekend to support  pediatric cancer research worldwide. Who needs the luck 'o the Irish, when all the Alaskan bald guys, like Ed and the Virginia dudes, like Paw Paw and so many others are on your side? Stay tuned for the bald and beautiful Ed..coming to a website near you soon. Bald is so beautiful! Thanks, Ed! Happy St. Baldrick's Day!St_baldricks_logo For those of you wishing to read more about this fantastic organization, or to donate to the cause, check out www.stbaldricks.org . Smile, You're On R&J Photography!

R_and_j_photography_2 Robert and Jennifer, the newest additon to Evan the Warrior's troops and the scouting portrait experience, have an announcement! Due to overwhelming demand and popularity, the Scout picture nights have been extended... until May. For the many busy families of the Scouting community who, but for schedule conflicts could not make it to the portrait nights, we have great news...you still have time! You get a great portrait of your den mates, fellow girl scouts and cub buddies, and Robert and his wife agree to donate 10% of the proceeds to Evan. It's a win-win. In fact, after you click on the beautiful website created by R& J Photography, you will no doubt agree, R & J Photography should be your one stop shop for all your portrait needs. Thank you for your keen eye, and your generous Warrior support. Simply click on the link provided in the Links Board to experience R & J Photography and sign up.

Don't freak...it's faux! Evan is wrapped in the most amazing blanket I have ever felt! It comes from the kind folks at www.dontfreakitsfaux.com . Kind, fuzzy, warm, generous, soft, and amazing...the blanket and the maker. Each throw is individually hand sewn and one of a kind. Each gorgeous blanket throw is lovingly made and dedicated to the honor and memory of Carrie, a dear sweet girl who earned her angel wings much too young, after suffering from Leukemia. Please bookmark the site and consider giving one or more throws as gifts this year. For every five large throws sold, one is donated to a sick child at a hospital. Thank you so very much to the folks at www.dontfreakitsfaux.com  for blanketing Evan with love.
